Lives of many Medieval children were similar to the lives of children today. They went to school, did chores, and played games. Boys went to school more often than girls, because girls usually ended up learning about houseshold chores, while boys learned arithmetic, reading, writing, and Latin. There were universities in the Middle Ages, but only men went to them. Sports that in the Middle Ages were very alike to sports today like hockey,soccer, and golf. When a boy grew up, he could become knight by becoming a page, then a squire, and finally a knight. It was very dangerous to be a mother or a infant in Medieval Times becuase diseases and difficulties in birth.
